I am freelance Costume Designer and Graphic Artist, currently based in the DMV area. My work includes but is not limited Theatre, Opera, and Dance.
I have always had a love for story, whether that be books, movies, or live theatre, I love to see and hear how other people experience the world. As a queer artist I make it a part of my personal mission to find a way for everyone to see themselves in the stories I tell.
I have worked in multiple theatrical venues in different capacities, including Costume Design Assistant, Wardrobe, Stitcher, and even Audience Services Manager. These credits include Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Victory Gardens Theatre, Wolf Trap Opera, and Maine State Music Theatre.
I received an MFA in Costume Design from the University of Maryland - College Park, under the mentorship of Costume Designer Helen Q. Huang. I received a BA in Theatre Design from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, under the mentorship of Costume Designer Kaoime Malloy.
Recent designs include Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Grease, and Florencia En El Amazonas. Upcoming: Bright Star (Catholic University)
